As
specialist importers and merchants we have,
over the years, built up close relationships
with some of the leading winemakers of Europe
and the New World. Most of our wines are imported
direct from the estates and for many of our
limited-production wines we are the sole UK
agents. |
|
|
|
 |
We
are not online wine sellers. We actually prefer
to do business the old fashioned way, meeting
our winemakers and customers in person.
|
|
|
 |
We
are proud to sell not only classics from top
estates in Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhône,
Spain and Italy, but also some of the best examples
of progressive winemaking from boutique wineries
in The Americas and the Southern Hemisphere. |

Trade and Wholesale
Please e-mail initial enquiries
to us at:
We have a core range of wines from
exceptional winemakers, with whom we have worked for years,
but the mainstay of our business is in sourcing unique,
direct-import wines for exclusive supply to our trade customers. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
It makes no sense for you to sell the
same wines as everyone else. Give us a
brief and we find you the wine –
in most cases we will negotiate with the
winemaker and have something made specifically
for you.
For this we go right
back to the first stages of production,
right to the grapes on the vine… |
|
|
 |
 |
We work
closely with our winemakers and we get
to know each and every wine intimately,
from the early work in the vineyards,
to grapes, to bottle, to glass.
In this way we offer
our trade accounts the very best in quality
allied to exclusivity in supply. |

Brokerage
A large collection of fine wine is
cellared on site at The Old Vicarage, all of which is our
own stock and of impeccable provenance. For trade customers
seeking larger quantities of mature fine wines, we act as
brokers for a number of investors and merchants.
We also buy in complete collections
of fine and rare wines from long established private cellars.
We have extensive cellaring facilities
at perfect temperature and can store large stocks of fine
wine for customers wishing to keep wines on reserve. |
 |
 |
Private Customers
As well as selling our specialist
wines to high-end trade merchants, we also supply private
clients and fine wine investors.
Many of our restaurant customers buy
wine from us, of course. If you like what you drink in the
restaurant and just want to take away the odd bottle or
two, then anything on the main restaurant list can be purchased
at retail price to take home.
To take advantage of our wholesale
case rates, the minimum order is one case of 12 bottles…however
this may be a mixed case of several wines if you wish. We
also offer a range of specially priced mixed tasting cases
and composite cases on different themes. Please contact
us for details of these and other special offers. |
 |
 |
The lowest rates
apply for customers planning long-term cellars or purchasing
in advance of the optimum drinking dates. If you want to lay
wines down, we offer en primeur rates in advance of shipment.
We are always able to source parcels of the more difficult
to obtain limited-allocation wines and rarer vintages for
our customers. Fine and rare
wines, older vintages and investment wines for long-term
keeping can be supplied either duty suspended in customs
bond or as duty-paid stock, and if you don’t have
the space at home, we will store them for you free of charge.
We arrange delivery all over the UK.

If
you are interested in buying wine, whether just a bottle
or two, or building up a complete cellar plan, we would
be delighted to talk to you. |
