We are open as usual on 14th February, with a special menu to celebrate - please book well in advance, there is very limited availability.
We are taking reservations throughout the evening from 6.30pm onwards until 10.00pm
We have an exciting menu with champagne reception and unlimited all-inclusive flight of wines especially chosen by our sommelier. Alternatively, if you are looking for something extra special and we will need to prepare and decant in advance, you may choose from our extensive list of fine and rare wines (in which case instead of the flight of wines there is an allowance of £30 per person towards the cost of whatever you choose).

Re-open 5th January after Christmas holidays
We are now open again after the holidays. We have a couple of tables left available for Saturday 5th January. All our menus are available. Please telephone to book.
Christmas Eve - fully booked
We offer a special menu on Christmas Eve, available for reservations from 5.00 to 8.00.
The menu showcases some of our winter signature dishes with lovely seasonal flavours. There is an optional matched wine tasting flight of six different wines, or you could choose something from our ever-extending list (now at over 500 wines from all over the world).

Christmas Day menu - FULLY BOOKED
We are open as usual on Christmas Day, taking reservations from 12.00 onwards until 3.30.
We have an exciting menu with unlimited all-inclusive wines, each wine especially chosen by our sommelier to match the different courses, or if you seek something extra special and we will need to prepare and decant in advance, you may choose from our extensive list of fine and rare wines.

- Prestige dinner menu - available at all opening times, Tuesday to Saturday. Also offered with matching wine tasting flight, personally selected by our sommelier to partner each course
- Vegetarian Prestige menu - available at all opening times, Tuesday to Saturday. We are also pleased to accommodate any special dietary needs by prior arrangement.
- Dinner menu - available Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30pm
- Lunch menu - available Wednesday to Friday from 12.30pm
Extended fine wine list
We always offer excellent quality and value wines for everyday drinking from as little as £20 a bottle or a few pounds a glass.
We also have some of the finest wines in the world and we find that many of our regular customers visit The Old Vicarage as much for the extensive fine wine list as for the food so, to accommodate those guests wishing to explore the hundreds of rare wines in our cellar, we have now released some of our reserve stocks of fine wines, offering some of the best examples of classics from mature vintages over the last 50 years.
Highlights include a vertical of Vega Sicilia Unico back to 1965; a collection of Brunello di Montalcino, Franco Biondi-Santi, back to 1975, every major vintage of Ch. Lafite and Ch. Latour from the 60s and 70s, plenty of depth in reliable estates like Gruaud Larose and Leoville Barton, along with Red Burgundy Grands Crus by the late René Engel, mature Meursault from Coche-Dury, Premier and Grands Crus from Leflaive and Comte Lafon.
For those with tastes outside the conservative classics we have old Rhone from Guigal, some intriguing oddities from traditional winemakers like Domaine de Trévallon and Domaine Tempier, as well as mature vintages of excellent New World wines such as Ridge Monte Bello and Opus One.
All of this is offered with great cooking and service to match!
